Elective ultrasound sessions are non-diagnostic bonding experiences designed to provide families with a special opportunity to see their baby in 2D, 3D, 4D, or HD ultrasound imaging.

No. Elective ultrasounds are not intended to diagnose, treat, or monitor medical conditions and do not replace prenatal care with your healthcare provider.

No referral is typically required for elective ultrasound appointments. However, we do recommend that all clients receive routine prenatal care from a licensed healthcare provider.

• 2D ultrasound traditional black-and-white imaging that allows you to see your baby in real time.
• 3D ultrasound creates still, three-dimensional images of your baby.
• 4D ultrasound shows real-time movement, allowing you to watch your baby move, yawn, or stretch.
• HD ultrasound provides enhanced imaging with greater depth and detail.

The best imaging window is typically between 27–32 weeks of pregnancy, although timing can vary depending on baby’s position, fluid levels, and maternal body type.

For the best opportunity to obtain detailed 3D/4D images, we often recommend scheduling later in pregnancy, typically after 30–32 weeks, to allow baby additional time to develop facial fullness and fat deposits.

Staying well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment may also help improve image quality. While clear images can never be guaranteed, we always do our best to provide the best possible experience and imaging during your session.

If we are unable to obtain good images due to baby’s position, a complimentary rescan may be offered based on package type.

Ultrasound has been widely used during pregnancy for many years. All sessions are performed using established ultrasound practices by a trained sonography professional.

Appointment lengths vary depending on the package selected, but most sessions range from 15–40 minutes.

We recommend:

• Arrive with a comfortably full bladder
• Stay very well hydrated for several days before your appointment
• Eat a light meal, snack, or have a drink with sugar/caffeine immediately beforehand
• Arriving a few minutes early for check-in

Hydration can greatly help improve image quality.

Comfortable two-piece clothing is recommended so the abdomen can be easily accessed during the session

Absolutely! We happily welcome family, friends, and children to share in this special bonding experience.

Guests are welcome to record or facetime if someone is unable to attend.

Elective ultrasound services are self-pay only and are not billable to insurance.

Because appointment times are reserved specifically for each client, we kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling whenever possible. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee or deposit forfeiture.

If you are running late, please contact the studio as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals when possible; however, arriving late may require a shortened session or rescheduling to avoid delaying other scheduled appointments.

Due to the nature of elective services, refunds are generally not provided once services have been performed.
